Even EDC admits subsidy is high. Can you report the ridership on a monthly/program basis? All money losing or ineffective programs should be cut! NYC Ferry has been up since June 2011. One decade later, NYCEDC “will continue to work to drive down the subsidy”? There is no will, just rhetoric.

A Swiss tourist bought a 7-Day Unlimited MetroCard, but the machine did not dispense the card. Customer Service at 3 Stone Street said MTA has to do an investigation, and if error was confirmed, a US Dollar denominated check will be mailed to his Swiss address. Why not trust the tourist, and issue him another…
Low hanging wires are a hazard waiting to happen
Spectrum Cable at this location hangs 7 feet off ground. Calls to 311 and Spectrum Cable were made, and inspectors did come, but wires are still dangling. This is a common problem every few blocks in Richmond Hill.
