On April 27, 2024, pizzeria must cut air particulates by 75%

Thank you then-City Councilman, Richard Donovan for Local Law Number 38 for the year 2015. The final rule set by Department of Environmental Protection requires stove installed prior to May 6, 2016 to achieve a 75% reduction in particulates as assessed by a professional engineer.

Pizzerias would need to pay $20K to $100K to comply without any assistance from the City.
