Effective October 24, 2021, sections of Archer Avenue and Jamaica Avenue are designated Busways. Meaning, you will be ticketed for driving through it.
There should be a notice warning drivers BEFORE entering the area. For eastbound cars, the Bus Lane cameras are placed before Sutphin Boulevard.
You have to pass Sutphin Boulevard to see the only traffic warning sign. Even that, it does not say 24/7 restriction as indicated on its website. Meaning every car passing through will be ticketed. This is a DoT entrapment.
