At 68 and single, Esther works late shift as a home aide in Rego Park. 4 years at her current basement apartment, her stuff is constantly stolen by tenants in the same house. She has changed her lock several times, and is afraid to confront the younger perpetrators. She just want to move so she could feel safe coming home.
