Department of Homeless Services spent $61.4 million to clear 2,308 homeless people and their encampments from March 21, 2022 to November 30, 2022 were able to place only 3 in housing.
In Comptroller Brad Lander’s audit report, homeless activities resumed at 31% of those sites.
